Diversity and Inclusion
- Monitors the success rate for attracting a diverse candidate
pool and the success of diversity recruitment initiatives
and their impact on the USDA workforce. Provides status
updates on recruitment programs to the Assistant Secretary for Administration
and the Secretary.
- Sets strategy and implementation guidance for attracting,
hiring and retaining a highly diverse workforce with
the skill set needed to foster a high-performing USDA workforce. Routinely
monitors recruitment initiatives and hiring statistics
to identify new ways for recruiting and hiring a more diverse workforce
in alignment with EEOC's Model Agency program guidelines.
