SCIF Information

A Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) is a facility providing formal access controls (approved by the Director of Central Intelligence) and used to hold information concerning or derived from intelligence sources, methods, or analytical processes. For assistance in SCIF construction, you can call the ISS Staff.

DCID 1/21, Physical Security Requirements for SCI Facility  (NOTE:  This has been updated and is now DCID 6/9, but is not on the CIA Website - other sites may have this document).

The following Directives are used to create the proper environment and provide the proper protection for Intelligence information.
