USDA Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Event
In honor of Veteran’s
Day USDA is sponsoring a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
Event to provide these businesses with an opportunity to meet USDA program and
acquisition officials. The event will
focus on upcoming procurement opportunities.
USDA is committed to increasing contracting and subcontracting
opportunities awarded to SDVOSBs. The
event will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to
12 noon, on the Patio in the Jamie L. Whitten Federal Building. USDA
contracting agencies will have representatives from their program officials,
acquisition staffs, administrative and information technology staffs to meet
one-on-one with SDVOSBs to describe their respective agency program objectives,
direction and acquisitions.
There is no fee
to attend this event. To register,
please fill out the attached flyer and email or fax in your information by
November 1, 2011.
