Training Resources

To request USDA specific training in these areas, to include information security awareness seminars or one-on-one personnel security training for new USDA security points-of-contact, please email pdsd@usda.gov.

USDA Graduate School - Offers Suitability Adjudications course.

Defense Security Service Academy - offers several courses in information and personnel security in its Schedule of Courses Catalog (PDF; 417Kb)

Office of Personnel Management - The Personnel Security Branch can arrange for group training sessions with OPM on Position Sensitivity Designation, Forms Review, and e-QIP to USDA personnel involved in processing security questionnaires and requesting investigations.

National Security Agency - NSA provides Information Security Training. The catalog can be ordered by calling (410) 854-6488.

Security Awareness/Motivational Posters - This site offers many security education posters.

e-QIP Training - Contact Bill Abell, OPM, at (703) 603-0575 or via email at William.Abell@opm.gov. Courses are every Wednesday and Thursday from 9-3:30/4:00 in Arlington, VA.
