Organized a Mentoring Panel event in honor of Women’s Equality Day. Dr. Ann Bartuska (REE) served as the keynote speaker. Dr. Johanna Briscoe (DM/ASA) served as the panel moderator. Dr. Vivian Chen (FSIS), Janell Kause (FSIS), Jerri Marr (FS), and Erin Morris (AMS) served as the mentors.

March 8th was International Women’s Day (IWD). International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements – from the political to the social – while calling for gender equality. The theme for IWD 2017 was #BeBoldForChange.

We celebrated Women's History Month by hosting a Flash Mentoring Event on the Whitten patio on the 23rd. The welcoming speaker was Dr. Jeleen Briscoe, Acting Chief of Staff with the Assistant Secretary for Administration (ASA), and our keynote speaker was Angela Coleman, Chief of Staff with the Forest Service (FS).
