Lease Accountability and Strategy Division (LASD)

The Lease Accountability and Strategy Division's vision is to become the leader across Federal Government in lease management, ensuring long-term accountability and compliance for other delegated agencies throughout the Department.

The Lease Accountability and Strategy Division's mission is to set the standard of high performance and provide portfolio planning services, ensuring effective management and oversight of Service Center Agencies (SCA) delegated leases as authorized by the General Services Administration (GSA).

The Lease Accountability and Strategy Division provides operational and strategic leasing support services to USDA's Service Center Agencies through a close partnership with GSA. Our operational services include keeping current lease activities in USDA moving and functioning at peak levels throughout the delegation review process, as well as management of the broker contract. LASD provides strategic services by defining how the leasing business at USDA should evolve in order to sustain long-term success, but also discovering new ways to perform leasing activities differently, better and at a lower cost compared to how it is done now.
