USDA Hall of Heroes Award Program

Criteria

Contributions that reflect a lifetime commitment of service to achieving the mission and vision of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and:  

• Demonstrate National and International prominence and public recognition
• Helped to shape Agriculture programs that have worldwide impact
• Demonstrate a groundbreaking role in breaking down barriers to further the role of agriculture
• Demonstrate a legacy that continues to grow

Contributions which had a direct and lasting impact on national and international agriculture and related programs.

Nominations may include USDA and non USDA (both living and deceased) individuals or symbolic icons who meet the above criteria.
