The Office of Operations provides overall direction, leadership, coordination and guidance in activities relating to facilities management, engineering and architecture, internal energy conservation, recycling and mail and copier management programs.

The USDA Farmers Market is held every Friday from June 3rd through November 18th, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and is located in the USDA parking lot at the corner of 12th Street and Independence Avenue in SW, Washington, DC. The Farmers Market features local farmers from Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia selling fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, baked goods and more.
