The Small Business Connections is an outreach program of USDA’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). Each month small businesses are invited to attend a meeting to network, learn from one another and make critical connections to help expand small businesses interactions with USDA.
At this event, you will have an opportunity to participate in networking with government and industry representatives and engage in an interactive ninety minute schedule of informative presentations and discussions led by program and small business procurement officials from USDA.

During each topic-specific meeting, small business owners will hear from a presenter who will provide invaluable insights.
You are cordially invited to join us at this event on Tuesday, AUGUST 11, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the South Building Cafeteria Conference Room. The Small Business Connections topic will focus on USDA’s continued commitment to engaging with HUBZone Certified SB/SDB, and SB/SDBs interested in becoming HUBZone certified, for increased participation in its end of year EOY FY15 business opportunities. Attendance is open to SB/SDBs of all socio-economic categories, however, the program focus will be on the SBA HUBZone program and HUBZone certified and prospective HUBZone small businesses seeking to do business with USDA.
You will hear comments by Ms. Mariana Pardo, Director, SBA HUBZone Program and Mr. Mark Crowley, Director of the National HUBZone Council about this non-profit organization, which is dedicated to promoting business development of HUBZone certified firms and firms interested in the HUBZone program. There will also be a panel from several USDA buying agencies discussing the remaining 4th Quarter FY15 End of Year business opportunities at their agencies.
