USDA Event: Small Business Connections


Topic: Supporting Small Business: USDA Procurement Forecast of FY16 US Forrest Service Business Opportunities

The Small Business Connections is an outreach program of USDA’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). Each month small businesses are invited to attend a meeting to network, learn from one another and make critical connections to help expand small businesses interactions with USDA.

At this event, you will have an opportunity to participate in networking with government and industry representatives and engage in an interactive ninety minute schedule of informative presentations and discussions led by program and small business procurement officials from USDA.

The Small Business Connections is for your company if:

  • You wish to expand knowledge of USDA’s procurement priorities;
  • You want to network with other small and large businesses; and
  • You desire to build relationships with Small Business Specialists.

During each topic-specific meeting, small business owners will hear from a presenter who will provide invaluable insights.

You are cordially invited to join us at this event on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 9:30 to 12:00, at the South Building Cafeteria Conference Room. The Small Business Connections topic will focus on the USDA Procurement Forecast of FY16 US Forrest Service Business Opportunities. It highlights USDA’s continued commitment to engaging with SB/SDB, and SB/SDBs for increased participation in its FY16 business opportunities. Attendance is open to SB/SDBs of all socio-economic categories seeking to do business with USDA.

You will hear comments by Mr. George Sears, HCAD, USFS, and a panel of USFS procurement and program officials presenting an overview of USFS FY16 business opportunities.
